New MDR Federal Stimulus Balance Selections Help Marketers Target Remaining Funds
Over $4 Billion in Remaining ARRA Funds Must Be Spent by September 30
August 8, 2011 – MDR announced today the release of a timely new email and direct mail list selection, Stimulus Balance Selects. Designed to help customers take advantage of as much as $4.5 billion of education funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that remains unspent by districts and schools, the new MDR selections can help customers quickly target sales opportunities before the September 30, 2011, spending deadline.
The new selections on MDR’s 5.5 million K-12 educator file give marketers the ability to target personnel in districts and schools that have balances of $3,000 or more in available stimulus dollars. Selections are available across a range of funding levels.
“The opportunities for businesses in the education space resulting from ARRA funding have been significant,” said Anne Wujcik, Research Analyst at MDR. “As the spending deadline draws closer, schools are spending down their remaining funds every day. There is still, however, a significant amount of money that no one can afford to lose.”
Funds are still available for major federal programs, presenting opportunities for many businesses with services for schools. In a July 21 free MDR webinar, funding experts Jenny House and Wujcik provided details on the current opportunities available for businesses, as well as strategies and ideas for how to capture available funding.
